Your Valley of Weeping (Part 2)

Now that we know "how we are", where do we go from here? When God showed me the area in my life that I was hurting, I was really taken aback. You know how some things in your life are just part of it. You don't ask why, you don't question it, you just do it. You live your life the way it is and hope to be ok at it. Oh, theres that word again. Let's try to remove that from our vocabulary.

Psalm 84:5-7 "what joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs. The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings. They will continue to grow stronger, and each one of them will appear before God in Jerusalem"

What is your Valley of Weeping? What part of your life would you wave a majic wand over to fix. Perhaps your marriage is struggling, or maybe your spouse has left you and your kids. Maybe a close family member is suffering with a disease. It could be pain from a childhood divorce or some form of abuse as a child that you have not yet dealt with emotionally. Whatever that valley is, until you can stand before God and admit you are hurting, there will be no healing for you.

As I said before, God is a gentleman, He will not force the healing on you. But be forewarned, if you agree that healing is necessary, you may be surprised to see how many things in your life need attending to. You see, God is a God of chronology. He takes us through steps that could not be completed without something being delt with prior. You will look back at your journey through healing and be amazed at how He used this time and the order in which He brought things out. I pray that you will be like puddy in His hands as you journey on through this uncharted land.
